Let’s look at America. Dissent in America does not have to mean disloyalty.
I remember the slaughter of Kent State co-eds. I remember the slaughter of civil rights protestors in Alabama and throughout the south. Hurricane Katrina saw the slaughter of innocent people trying to cross a bridge.
These horrific acts will continue as long as we allow governing bodies to look out of the interest of a few. The murders, lynchings and illegal harvesting of body parts somehow seem to be the new reality.
We have not learned from the sins of the past.
