To the editor:
I’m angry!
Just got off the phone with the 50th Precinct. A really nice policewoman answered.
I reported (again) the SUV illegally parked in a no standing any time” spot on Kappock Street. If there is a car parked there, you can’t see pulling out of the driveway of the Knolls Crescent parking lot about to enter Kappock Street.
One minute, all clear. The next second, a car zooms down Kappock Street. This is an accident (and, God forbid, a fatality) waiting to happen.
The driver puts a past ticket on his windshield so it looks like the car has been ticketed that day to any police or DOT car driving by.
This SUV is a repeat offender and should be towed. My friend, who faces the back, says the car is parked there every night.
The spot is designated no standing anytime for a reason.
