Angellyh Yambo Way

Angellyh Marieh Yambo, the teen who was killed in a random shooting outside her school more than a year ago, had a street co-named after her on Saturday near 3340 Bailey Place. The 16-year-old, who had just celebrated her sweet 16 months before the gang-related shooting, was very familiar with that area as she played softball in South Riverdale and visited her dad at work as a doorman at The Glen Briar co-op. The event drew many electeds, including Mayor Eric Adams, and community members. Pictured, from left, are her father Manuel Yambo, her great aunt Mary Hernandez, Fidel Molina, her older brother, and Yanely Henriquez, her mother.
